Default can anyone help me please

hi guys
this is my first post, so hello all =0)

i have registered here in the vain hope of getting my wifi to work at home .

up until recently i had adsl, a 2mb line, the cabled connection was fine, band the wifi was ok with no probems on either really other then it being only 2mb

i recently upgraded to bt infinity as is a lot faster and in my area
the connection via a network cable into the home hub 3 is fine, the connection is solid and never drops
the wifi however is a nightmare and has got worse til its now unusuable

it just will not let me connect to it, or if it does it just either drops off every minute or so, or tells me it is unable to connect at all, even tho i see the signal, its configured right etc
ive reset them all as well, no change

ive tried 4 different routers, 2 home hubs and 2 netgear n750s
neither will work.

ive run inssider to see what other networks are about, and thees nothing there i can see better then mine then suddenly mine just drops.

ive tried moving the router about, turning off ALL electrical appliances locally (tho ive alwys had my wireless routers in the same spot)

ive tried manually setting diffrent security levels (encryption) and also updated all the firmwares on all routers and tried manually selecting a channel and auto

ive even dissconnected the bt modem from the home hub and the problem still persists, the wifi clients just WONT connect to my router, or any of the four tried, for any amount of time if at all, sometime it sees a good signal, then it sees nothing

i notice also the wifi flashes off momentarily, so somthing is dropping the signal that didnt when i had adsl wifi

i would add im using the 2.4ghz i havent tried the 5ghz side of it as i havent got any N standard clients

none of my neighbors has any problems with thier wifi and next door is on infinity without ant problems on his wifi

ive had a couple of mates round who are far more clued up and even they cant suss it

my clients are 2 iphone 4s and a laptop, all of which connect to another wifi anywhere no problem, but none to mine

it feels as tho my wifi is being actually targeted or something

i would add the actual connection never flickers on my network coming in ive run a logger as well, it doesnt flutter, only the wifi does

im deseratly hoping someone has some ideas or suggestions, most of my need for the internet is thru wifi and i cant use it, but i dont know who to call to come and sort it, cos i just cant

the mrs is driving me mad for facebook lol
anyway thanks for reading

John

I would set your wireless algorithm to use 802.11b only an not mixed b/g/n or set it to b/g if thats the only option. If you can set it to "b"only and it works better then set it to "b/g" and see what that does for you.

No problem, it helps to dumb the wireless down sometimes! If you can turn off the "N" radio also - good luck.
