Default Cannot Aquire IP

Every so often my wireless will drop out upon a restart and not be able to aquire an ip to the network again, its happened twice and has fixed its self over time but it is getting really annoying. It has not effected any other wireless in the house only my computer?, if you have an idea on what it might be please let me know?

Is it a computer with a PCI card or an external AP router? How long does it take to get the ip back? Is it assigned through dhcp, static or assigned based on MAC?

it is a pci desktop card, and it seems to work fine most of the time. the problem usually follows a crash or random restart of my computer and in most cases reinstalling the drivers fixes the problem within about 10minutes of doing so.

any ideas on how i canf ix this permanitly?

So its a computer crashing prob not a wireless problem.

You could try setting the card and other equipment to static IP's, this way it wont have to go and ask for one, it should always know it.
