Question Connecting to Wifi with a Dongle.

Hi I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

I'm currently using a Mobile Broadband Dongle to connect to the internet at home, I was wondering if I could connect my Nintendo DS for example using Wifi through my Broadband Dongle, or does it have to be through a wireless router?

Thanks in advance.
