I currently am experiencing a problem with my d-link. What happens is once i have installed the software i try and connect to the network but it continues to say "acquiring network address" after i have put the password in to connect to it. I have checked the settings and tried doing exactly the same on a laptop (which works fine on the d-link).
Since this i have formatted both hard drives on my PC and it still continues to experience the same problem as before. I have noticed that when i click 'status' it intermittently goes from 52mps to 11mps and then up to 52 and the signal drops out every 3 seconds or so.
I have a booster right underneath my room in the kitchen and i have run the wireless for about 2 years this way and has worked fine until i took my pc to a mates house and put it on his lan and since then it has not worked at home on the wireless.....
Anyone got any ideas as to what the problem or solution could be?
