I have a Studio XPS 1645 laptop with a Wireless 370 Bluetooth Mini-Card running on Windows 7 Ultimate. I've tried connecting several different Bluetooth enabled cell phones to the laptop but it won't pick up anything in range. The cell phones however, have both picked up the laptop in their range. I've updated the drivers, reinstalled the old ones, and even replaced the card with a new one with no luck. I don't understand why the cell phones pick up the laptop in range, but not vise versa. I've made sure that the bluetooth was enabled on both phones as well as the visibility and have even reset them both, still no luck. Does anyone have any idea why the card won't pick up any bluetooth devices?
