Default DHCP doesn't give right IP

I just got my Linksys WRT54GL wireless router, set it up and DHCP doesn't get my laptop right IP. Router IP is set to 192.168.1.1 and DHCP server is enabled (IP range 192.168.1.100-149). I can connect to it but internet wouldn't work cause it sets my parameters like this:
-IP address: 192.168.0.218 or 217
-Default gateway: 192.168.0.1
-DHCP Server: 192.168.0.200
-DNS Servers: 192.168.0.1
I have ADSL line and modem Sagem 3344. I deleted entry for DHCP on my modem and it's working in modem mode (no username and password set in setting). My connection is set from modem to router and then from router to 2 switches for desktop PCs (I manually set their IPs and internet works for them without problem). Also tried on other laptop and same story. If I manually set IPs on wireless adapter internet works with no problem. At first I thought that maybe if I upgraded firwmare problem would be solved but it didn't help. I upgraded to Tomato firmware version 1.10. If anybody has any idea what could be wrong I would really appreciate it

Assuming your WRT54GL is setup correctly then the DNS/DHCP/Gateway settings your PC gets should all point to the router.

If your WRT54GL is setup properly then when your PC gets its IP address from the DHCP server on the WRT54GL you should have a valid IP within the IP range you set on the WRT54GL. The DHCP/DNS/Gateway setting in the IP should also point to your WRT54GL as well. This means that if the IP of your WRT54GL is 192.168.1.1 then the DNS/DHCP/Gateway will also be 192.168.1.1

Page 5 of the manual describes the basic setup of your WRT54GL. With that set you can now move to page 7, setting up your DHCP server. All you have to do here is to enable it and leave all the other entries as they are (0.0.0.0) as the DHCP server will automatically pick up that the WRT45GL is to be used as the respective servers. Only fill in the DNS if you have a DNS server inhouse. And obviously you can forget about the WINS server. I should point out that I don't use WRT devices at all and upon reading the manual it was pretty evident that Linsys haven't made it clear about not having to make entries in the DNS part of the DHCP setup.

Your done, it should work, if not post your questions in the linksys forums to get a resolution.
