Edge-Core VG007 Wireless Client Problem

Hi again.

I have a problem that i am having trouble working out, maybe someone here has had similar problems.

I have a network setup at work with the following configeration

Wireless AP (Proxim 4000) that allows connection to DHCP SERVER to get IP ADDRESS.

IP of Proxim: 10.219.136.23 Subnet Mask: 255.255.254.0

I am trying to setup a machine on the shop floor that is running Win XP Sp2 behind an Edge-Core VG007 Pocket VOIP box Edge-corE : Voice & IP Telephony Product-VG007 / Wireless Personal VoIP Gateway
which should be able to setup as a wireless client. The problem i have is the machine plugged in on the Lan port cannot connect to our DHCP SERVER.

This is totally nuts i can not figure it out

I have Solved this part of my problem and it looks like these could be quite a good purchase as they really are a on stop shop for all your needs.

The fix was to set it up in wireless client mode whilst connected to the Lan Port and input your WPA Key etc to get connected to your Access point. Reboot the VG007 and the connect the PC that requires Access to your DHCP Server into the WAN port. This by the way is not Documented anywhere in the Manuals either online, CDRom or Install Guide.

I would expect although i have not tested this if you needed this to be an ethernet bridge all you would have to do is add a 4, 8, 16 or even 24 port switch behind it and it would work albeit a bit slow with 16 or 24 ports full
