ERR AGHHH The DREADED wireless signal drop every 15 min
To make things short I have a wireless N pci card and router. Signal is full strength but drops about every 15 min. Than about 30 seconds latter it connects. Well this really screws up gaming and downloding torrents. So i googled and did a few things to try but to no avail.
Things i have tried.
make sure i have the most current windows xp.
disable wzc
Change channles on my router( a freakin billion times)
Unplug my 2.4ghz phone.( told this was the problem. come to find out its a myth bc its still droping every 15 min with full signal)
Toggled with security encyption on AND off( still no help)
Dedicated my router for N only instead of N and than backwords compat for b and g.
Updated firmware for pci card and router
Well thats about it any other suggestions i have seen. Most of the things i have tried. Helped every one else,
