Help with Belkin wireless notebook card and westell Versalink

Is the Belkin wireless G Notebook card only compatible with a Belkin router?
Because I just bought it and installed it and the internet doesnt work.
It detects some wireless networks that are not mine, but it does not detect my network.
there might be a problem with the Westell Versalink or the Verizon DSL sevice instead.
I have no idea why it is showing up

The Belkin card should work with any wireless network, espcially given that it is Wi-Fi certified. Log into the Versalink and double check the wireless settings. If that checks out then my best guess is that it may be faulty.
