i think my wifi card in my laptop is broken. help?

my wifi in my laptop (compaq presario v3000) has been working on wifi fine. since now.

i dont know what happened.

anyway, i tried connecting to my wireless network. it could detect the network, but when i clicked on it then clicked "connect", it took a LOOOONG time for it to connect to the network.

finally it just says "Not Connected" on the status OR "Automatic"....

does this mean that my internal wifi card in my laptop is broken?

or is the network the problem?

(although, i've tried connecting on the wifi network with my sisters laptop, and she can connect fine...)

please help.

I think you got the problem on the wifi card as I had met the same problem as you and I changed a new one and it worked fine upto now.
