Default Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG and MSI wireless card conflict

I have an Sony Vaio model VGN-FS285B with an Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG card and an MSI 802.11g/b wireless card.

When i try to use both... the Intel wireless card frezees at Data Link layer or hardware layer. I can not use both!!
arp -a says at type: invalid

dhcp doesn't work anymore and i can not connect to internet anymore...

Does anyone knows a workaround for this issue???

Default More details about this...

I use Windows XP Pro SP2 , no hardware modifications.
As i told you ... the problem is at windows level somewhere ..
When i start the Intel Pro/Wireless 2200 card, and the MSI PCMCIA wireless card is working everything related to wireless.. services, connections, network configurations windows... Everything frezees!!!

When i use only the MSI PCMCIA or Intel wireless card everything is OK!!

But both NO!!!

Any help?, any workaround?

Not too surprised. Even if the computer hardware and software is compatible with running two wireless connections simultaneously, you'd still have two radio transmitters on the same frequency butted right up against each other.

No, this is not an issue because i've done this ( using 2 wireless cards ) on my desktop using windows2003 and Load Balancing with 2 PCI wireless cards used at the same time.... and they work just fine!

Well, unless setting a static local IP (or set of IPs) fixes the problem, I have no more ideas.

Default Got IT!!!

I tried many solutions until i discovered something... Opened 2 command windows ... Rebooted XP. MSI wireless card with static IP , Intel wireless card with dynamic IP (provided by AP).
In each window i run ping "another fix wireless adress - my desktops one" /t ...for the MSI card and ping "www.google.com" /t in other one ... for the Intel card.

After that i start plugin and plug out (phisically) the MSI card from my PCMIA slot. When the MSI was plugged out , the ping too google was working , if pluged in ... NOT.

So my conclusion is that somehow the signals of my 2 networks cards colide or there is a conflict at hardware level...

If anyone has a solution for making 2 wireless network card work toggether please let me now
