It happens that my wireless connection seems to go off, with no apparent reason, however, when I check the dialog I notice my neighbours' wireless connections. I just have to reconnect, and, at times have to change the channel (frequency) from my wireless router to reconnect to the network.
The wireless router is less than 2 metrrs from my laptop and there is virtually no interference. Sometimes they are about 5-6 meters apart, however, this issue does not seem to have anything to do with the distance.
My wireless connection is secured with (WPA2) and I have also configured access control on my router, as security features.
I presume that the temporary loss of connection is some technical hiccup in the radio waves, have other users encountered similar problems?
Related technical articles on relevant issues would also be appreciated.
Honestly I think the router is on its way out. One of the most common signs that your router is "going bad" are your computers losing their wireless connections, then reconnecting. If it's doing it on more than one computer, then it's more than likely the router.
