Default multiple readings from a single card

I just got an Enterasys 802.11b card off eBay. When I plug in the card I with the client manager running I get an error message saying:

"CMbrt: Multiple wireless cards present. The first active wireless card will be used"

The message appears everytime the card is inserted and the client manager is enabled, even if an external antenna is not attached. All the wireless apps run without error and performance does not appear to be compromised. Its annoying to see the message everyday. I know I can just bypass the manager and run the card through Windows, or click "OK" and keep going, but I'd like to fix the problem if its possible.

Here's some specifics:

Enterasys 802.11b DS High Rate
P/N CSIBD-AA-128
Driver version: 786.18.840 (NDIS 5 miniport)

Client Manager 3.30

10" cAntenna by Alan Rothberg

Sony PCG-FRV37
Intel P4 2.8 GHz, 512 RAM
Windows XP Home

Thanks.........

Does it show more than 1 wireless interface under network connections (in control panel) ?

Well, I think I found the error. After having some difficulty trying to connect to a high security wireless network (don't worry, it was authorized) I found a more up to date driver than the one that was sent with the card and installed it. That, together with an uninstall/re-install earlier in the day and somehow I wound up with two RoamAbout apps trying to control the card, each with a slightly different name, and only one of which was listed in the Device Manager.

I just deleted one of them and haven't seen the error message since.

There's still a few proprietary application issues to work out. Some of the network monitoring programs recognize the card but don't catch the packets. That could be configuration, driver, or chipset related, I'll just have to take on those one by one.

Thanks for your interest.
