My internet connection goes up and down frequently!

Recently, I've got some problems with my Linksys Cisco router; it gives kind of suddenly dropped signal (Internet signal goes down for about 1 and a half minute, then it goes up for 5 to 7 minutes, then down... and so on...)

I contacted my ISP, and they told me that everything should be right and working well.

This problem started just before one month. I am getting suspicious of a website I have visited last month (not **** site! Syria Cartoon- ÑÇÆÏ Îáíá).
My anti virus (Kaspersky IS) detected a virus and stopped the website from downloading a HEUR.TROJAN, then deleted it from my system.

Also, it happened that sometimes the wireless connection get disconnected, and the only way to make it visible ,by a computer, is to reset the router (turning off then on).

Could my router be infected by that virus/Trojan causing some kind of problems as I have mentioned?

Or what the hell is going on? I am getting

PS: I usually work via wifi, but I can have access via direct Ethernet cable to the router.

Your internet connection connection speed for that Trojan virus. There is no problem in your wireless router.
