Default My wireless network is picked up, but i cant view any pages

Ok i will try to give people details later in the post. I have a wireless router connected to my main desktop that currently gives me access to the internet on my Mac laptop. I'm trying to get the internet to work on my other desktop. I purchased a Wireless Adapter, and have had troubles from the start with it connecting. Since it kept getting stuck at finding the IP etc, i manually added those details. Now, my desktop will connect and will either lose connection relatively fast, or will stay connected, but no internet pages will load.

Now im not sure what details you want but here are the ones i can think of:

Desktop i'm trying to get the internet on is running Widows XP
My Wireless adaptor on my desktop: D-LINK Wireless USB Adaptor DWA-110
My router: DIR-615
My Driver according to the dlink wireless manager is: 1.03.00.0000
My Routers (DIR-615) firmware is 3.01
My Routers revision is C2

Please help, i'm out of ideas!

Conorp

I just purchased a D-Link wireless router, a DI-524. On my computer i connect through dial up to the internet. I have been trying to figure out how to share this connection through the router, but i haven't been able to because the router is made to hook up to an external modem through a WAN port. If there is a way to share my connection through this router, please help me with how.

You'll need a 2nd network card on your computer, then you can use internet connection sharing in windows (ICS) to share out the 2nd network card to your router. It will be painfully slow...
