Netgear 824 v2 Router Problem

Hi

I bought the Netgear 824 router because my Xbox 360 Wireless connector would not work (wirelessly) with my DLink 624+ router.

The problem I have now is that my laptop with a DWL-AG650 card connects to the Netgear router with a strong signal, but I can't get an IP address?

When I look at the netgear router Connected Devices via the administrator GUI from Internet Explorer, I see that my PC (connected with Ethernet) has an IP address (192.168.1.2) but the wireless card has " - - - " in the IP column.

I will try a Netgear wireless USB stick later tonight to see if that works and to see if this is a classic "don't mix brands" issue.

Any ideas what I might have done wrong? I have updated the router to the latest firmware...
