Angry netgear router problem, can't log in

My netgear wgt624 v3 is good till this morning. I updated firmware, since then I lost wireless connection. Now I can't log on to it, even with hard wired to my PC.

It's test LED light comes up (check mark like LED), along with internet and ethernet port LED lights. Then they all go off after 2-3 seconds. Then they would come up after 2-3 seconds and then they go off again. This has been happening for ever. While in my PC, I get message like "network cable unplugged'.

I tried to reset to factory defaults, no use. I tried several power cycles - no use.

Please help...!!!!!

Default Not good

Hi there, were you plugged in via the ethernet when you did the firmware upgrade? if not it may be corrupt and the AP may be unrecoverable. You are best to email the support guys on support@netgear.com <support@netgear.com>
Good Luck,
Dale

Default

when you did the factory reset did you hold the reset button in for at least 10 seconds, its alway good practice to do so with Netgear routers I find.
