Netgear WG111t

OK here is the deal, I have a Netgear WG111t Wireless USB Adapter that is working properly, but every time I put the thing in to the USB port my home internet doesn't work. MY Netgear USB adapter says its conneted to router but not to the internet. Does anybody know the problem. Thanks
