Default No wireless network adapter.

Hi guys

I've just recently re-installed windows xp and I'm currently on the verge of seting up my internet connection once again. When I go into Network connections there seems to be no wireless network connection option as you'd usually have. Now I'm not much of a tech buff but I've got a Toshiba Satellite laptop purchased in 06 with an inbuilt wireless adapter.

I've been on a hunt for the answer of why this option has suddenly disappeared and a popular reply would be to start the "Wireless Zero config.", but yet I still can't see the wireless adapter option.

Thanks in advance

Pat
