It's driving me absolutely crazy! Whenever I am playing music or watching video on my computer, and there is something moving on screen, say for example if i am typing an e-mail while listening to music, or trying to watch a flash animation, then there will be a very irritating crackling and popping experience happening along with the audio. If there is no motion on screen the everything ios fine, but this is obviously an issue!
After reading several threads on this forum, I have installed the Latency tool, but to no avail (i dont know if i have used it incorrectly or not), and I have read about the onboard sound.
Can anyone help me? Maybe they can tell me how to turn off the 'onboard sound', or maybe there is anther underlying issue that needs to be resolved first? Im sorry, im not very computer knowledgeable when it comes to hardware, or I would supply you with some hardware information. mayge someone can help me acquire this info?
You may have a faulty motherboard. The first thing you should do is update your drivers for your main board, sound card and video card. If you have a spare video card you should try it as well.
You may need the services of a computer technician if you can't try these things.
