Unhappy PCMCIA start problem

Hii All!!

I did install metrix pebble linux in soekris net4526. but its cardmgr is not working I tried to start PCMCIA manually but found following error:

# /etc/initd/pcmcia start

Starting PCMCIA services: modulesinsmod: a module named pcmcia_core
already exists
/lib/modules/2.4.29/pcmcia/yenta_socket.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters
ds: no socket drivers loaded!
/lib/modules/2.4.29/pcmcia/ds.o: init_module: Operation not permitted
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters
cardmgr.
cardmgr[523]: starting, version is 3.1.33
cardmgr[523]: no pcmcia driver in /proc/devices
cardmgr[523]: exiting

Please tell me why I am getting this type of error.
Thanks in advance

Probably because the Soekris net4526 doesn't feature PCMCIA?

If you are using mini PCI cards you don't need a PCMCIA driver, they should behave just like normal PCI cards in a standard computer.
