Please help me before i smash my laptop to smitherines!!

Could someone please please please help me........

I have been trying to set up my new laptop for wireless broadband for a week solid now and i cant find out what the problem is, i think its only something minor but im not too technically minded.


I have bought a fujitsu siemens laptop with windows xp. I am on cable and bought a msi wireless router that can work with both adsl and dsl.
I have no problems connecting to the internet via usb cable.

When i try to choose a wireless network to connect to, i cannot find any, no matter how many times i refresh, my network adaptor is switched on, and works as when i searched for wireless networks before, 5 different ones came up, but now i cant find any a week later.


What could the problem be......???

Are you saying that you're setting up a new laptop for the first time, or that everything was working fine until a week ago and you've been trying to fix it? The answer might yield some clues.
