Default possible to use ddr ram in conjuction with pc100

i would like to speed up my pc and have found some ddr ram in a disfunctional pc, is it possible to add it to my pc which uses pc100?

the ddr ram is from a hp base unit which does dot turn on...

I doubt it, usually the RAM always has to be of the same speed and type otherwise boot-up issues can arise in the computer. This is only info from previous experience though, I could have just been unlucky
