Question Problem with Linksys WRT54G Router in connecting Internet

I have a linksys WRT54G router. It was serving two PCs and three laptops.

Recently I have formatted one Laptop and reloaded all the stuff. It is again connecting the network nicely. But no internet connection!!!!!

My internet is provided by the ISP through WAN. The cable is provided with RJ45 connector. I simply hook it to WRT54G's internet port. The WRT54G is working perfectly for the other computers in my own wi-fi network since all of them are getting internet connection. Only this recently formatted Laptop is failing to pass the router and connect the net. I have checked this by following steps.

1) I pinged the router (192.168.1.1) by the affected(Formatted) laptop and a non-affected laptop. Both are having reply from Router.
2) I then, pinged the Server of the ISP (10.10.0.1) by the affected(Formatted) laptop and the same non-affected laptop. Non-affected one is getting the usual reply but this newly formatted one is showing the usual failure message "Request timed out".
3) I even logged into the setup page of the router through this affected laptop browser and even pinged the ISP server through the tools of router and there I am getting perfect reply from the ISP Server. But this laptop, per se , is failing to go beyond the router to ISP. However, prior to formatting this Laptop was working nicely with the same router and connecting to internet as the others in the network do.

Could anyone help me out?

Model of Laptop: HP NX6110
OS- XP.
Router- Linksys WRT54G
Encryption: WPA-Personal
