problems with graphics card

hello

i am using a p3 machine with 256 mb ram. i have a nvidia geforce2 graphics card. i was using this card for the last 3 years. But now when the card is inserted to the agp slot the pc starts but monitor doesnt start.

When i remove the card and then the monitor works using the inbuilt video of 815 chipset.

Problem in the graphics card or in the agp slot?

Help me on how to go about this problem.
