Router Problems

I am using O2 Storm Routers and am attempting to put up an isolated network with no uplink and two notebooks connected to one router.

However in our first trial to use one of them we have encountered some difficulties. We have configured the router completely and set it as a DHCP server and therefore using dynamic IP's for the network. We connected two Dell notebooks to this router which have been assigned respectively IP addresses (192.168.1.25 and 192.168.1.15). We have tried to ping the router from the first notebook (192.168.1.1) and it has work perfectly. When we tried to ping the second notebook via the router it doesn't work and times out. There is no firewal and after rebooting the IP addresses remain the same.
