rta770w help

i have a dynalink rta-770w and i set a username and password on it and now a couple of months later ive forgotten the username and passwd. so i cant get in to it.

is there a way to manualy reset the router?

Usually there is a small hole on the back of your router that is big enough to put the end of a paper clip in it and press a button that will reset the pwd and usrname to the device defaults.

If you read the instruction manual that came with your router im shure it will tell you how to reset it.

If all fails go to the dynalink site and download the latest manual (I dont know if they provide them online but they should.). Or phone them and ask them about how to do it.

yeah i thought that might be it.
luckly it remembers the jetstream username and passwd that i stored in it and unluckly it remembers the passwd.,
its not actually my router im in ashburton and i was tring to tell my old flatmate, in dunedin, who is VERY noob, how to set it up over msn, when he couldnt login to t he route i realised that i had set a passwd which i couldnt remember.

i had already dl'ed the manual from the dynalink website. in it, it has a diagram of the back with shows a small round hole but the manual doesn't doc it. if i had of been in front of the router i probably would have tried the littel button

so now that i know, ill have to send him an email on how to reset and get it going again
