Strange Problem - Unable to Connect to my home WiFi Connection
Hi,
I'm finding this problem quite curious and would like some help on the same.
I am trying to connect my laptop to the net through my wifi connection at home. The Wifi is connected and signal strength is showing as excellent. My Outlook is connecting fine and I am able to connect to my official email Id easily.
However I am unable to connect to the net through any of my browsers. All of them - I.E, Chrome and Firefox are unable to connect and are sharing their standard responses in the absense of an active net connection.
I had encountered the problem yesterday as well - however the moment I attach my office LAN to the same it works fine(thats in office- I stay a bit far from office so would request for no suggestions of trying alternating the same repeatedly ;-) ). I am now connected on my travel internet datacard through which I am emailling you.
My internet(TCP/IP) settings on my browser are set to automatically detect settings.
My borther-in-laws laptop connects automatically.
I use Windows XP.
Any other details required?
