you guys do such great work over here and I am completely stumped, so I though I would come see if anyone has an idea about my problem.
I am writing this on my second pc laptop so I know that my home router andinternet service is totally fine, at least I assume.
My first laptop (asus z9100l) has an intel PRO/wireless 2200GB wifi adapter which says I am connected, working and transferring packets both ways. I rolled back drivers, reinstalled original drivers and it didn't work at all! My IP adress, subnet mask and default gateway all seem to be in order and I have tried the ipconfig commands in dos. The standard repair function does nothing as the computer obviously thinks nothing is wrong. No firewall so not an issue at least I think...
It was working a few days ago and just suddenly stopped even though it still is showing transferral of packets!!
Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help!

Have you reset your router? Sometimes things just get locked up. Seems to happen more frequently with my vista laptop, (maybe 2 times a year)
Yes I have tried this and it happens everywhere (work, home, friends...).
How's this for a twist: the windows wifi thing in control panel says it is enabled and working as well as the system profiler, but the asus program that came with it says no wireless card detected even though it is
enabled through the third party software! Weird!
