Default USB wireless card

I have a Realtek USB wireless card for my desktop and I am having trouble connecting to my network.

When I open Config Utility on wireless card, there is a box checked and greyed out that says Radio Off. I briefly got a signal and that Radio Off button went haywire, checking and unchecking itself, until I finally lost signal completely.

I currently have a laptop and my cell phone connected to the wireless network I am trying to connect my desktop to.

If anyone could help out, I would be so appreciative! Thanks!
