usrobotics 5461 needs to be rebooted often

My USR 5461 used to worked pretty reliably. Now it needs to be rebooted several times a day. Mac, PDA, and DVD player cannot connect wirelessly. Rebooting the router always fixes the problem. Ideas? Hardware degradation?
