WGR614 V3 wont start

Hey,
I got a WGR614 V3 netgear router, up until now its been a real good router, but recently, it started needing many resets daily. today, i had to reset it 5 times. then i left the house for an hour, and when i came back, NOTHING.

yer,

the router was displaying an Amber Power light, instead of the friendly green powerlight and the flashing WAN light

so, i thought ill just reset the router and be on my way, wrong. reseting it flashed the power light green, then solid amber again.

so, what i have is a router that displayed a solid amber / orange light, and nothing else.

Its also is getting quite hot on the side of the router the antenna comes out of, the metal back panel it so hot that you cant hold your finger there to reset it.

anything i can do about this, or should i just hit the store tomorrow and blow another $50 on a new one
