WI-FI problem with Toshiba Qosmio X500

Hello everybody, i have a really frustrating problem with my WI-FI, the thing is that since this morning, my PC can't seem to recognize its WLAN card, and it doesn't even state that there's a problem with it or anything, it's just like it never existed in the first place! Also the wireless LED light is always off even if the switch is on, it all started this morning, my PC was in sleep mode, i lift the screen up and the screen goes black with a loud beeping noise, and it restarted automatically, then, no more WI-FI!!!
I tried restoring to about three days ago, but nothing changed, then i tried installing the wlan driver all over again, but the installation won't even start, as if it's saying "there is no wlan card here for a driver to be installed"..
I'm sorry for the long "report" but i'm really going out of my mind! PLEASE HELP!
