wifi antenna will not start

Lenovo T-61
Intel Wifi 4965ag

I've had this happen a couple times in the past few years.

Typical trouble shooting
-confirm network up with a secondary device.
-reboot
- Fn F5 then re-enable antenna
-Update driver
- reboot into safe mode remove driver reinstalling driver

There seems to be some corruption, i'm pretty sure manual cleaning from the registry needs to happen. Assistance would be appreciated.
