I am currently employed as a techie for a networking infrastructure company here in sunny South Africa, and part of my job is to test all the 'faulty' products as they arrive. I have seen my fair share of odd wireless problems, as I have done a few site installations, been on courses, etc... so I am versed in fresnel zones and multipath fading and what not. What I want from you guys is a list or rundown of steps that you take when troubleshooting a wireless connection problem. Once I have set up an efficient testing system I will be moved on to greener pastures in the company, but I will need to train whoever replaces me...so in short, all the good ideas will be thrown onto a wiki or knowledgebase or something.
