Default Wireless assistant problems

I have a HP HDX 16 laptop that i bought a year and a half ago.
All of a sudden my wireless assistant goes haywire and every now and then it goes into spurts where the wireless assistant will turn on and off continuously.
How can I fix this and what is the problem exactly ?

Wireless works just like a radio,it runs through frequency. One causes of getting a disrupted signal is if you have cellphone, microwave, radio,or cordless phone near your modem/router because it affects the signal. Sometimes it is also a distinction that your modem/router needs to be rebooted. You may power cycle your modem/router and turn off your computer. If same thing happen call the manufacturer of your modem/router so that they can run sync test.

hi.. it indicates that the wireless signal was interupted.. kindly access your GUIopr graphical user interface (ex http://10.0.0.1) ( depending on the tye of modem you have) change the wireless channel to prevent signal interuption.. reply to if it works:

If the OS of your computer is Windows XP, it might be that WZC (Windows Wireless Manager) and HP Wireless Assistant are in conflict. So just use WZC is your OS is XP by disabling HP Wireless Assistant .

it says right. but I see Volts and Amps rated listed on each ac adapter and on the back of each laptop .
( Amps-- my understanding is that the laptop can use an adapter with Amps equal to or above its own rating )
you have to check it any time.
