Default Easy

This is a simple problem but I;m not so sure. I didnt check out your model but have a look around the sides of your laptop, there might be a switch that you can toggle then jut do it. If not, then look at the f1-f12 keys on your laptop, there should be one that looks like a wireless sign. Press the [Fn} or Function key on your keyboard then the key with the wireless sign. Should turn the wireless on.

You can download a manual for your laptop from here.

Your question went to a usenet group and was answered, but i didn't see the reply here...
it is pasted below:
I'm not sure why you got a laptop without a manual, but here is the
manual:
http://static.tigerdirect.com/pdf/To...sersManual.pdf

It is page 108 ... which reads... "Wireless communication switch
You can enable or disable Wireless LAN and Bluetooth functions, with
the on/off switch. No transmissions are sent or received when the
switch is off. Slide the switch toward the left of the computer to
turn it on and toward the right of the computer to turn it off."
