Plug your computer into the router with an ethernet cable and open a web browser to change the channel.

With an F5D8231-4 router, you should be able to connect to its web interface at 192.168.2.1, and change the channel there.

Make sure the phone base and router aren't close to each other.

Make sure your antennas are all pointing up. Ideally, when using wireless, the line of antennas should be perpendicular to the imaginary line going from your router to wireless computer. IOW, your laptop should be able to "see" all the anteannas without one blocking the other two.

Default Channels

Hi there, I have found that alot of the cordless phones affect the lower channels. Try channels 10 or 11 if you haven't already.
