Question Wireless problems.....

hi, i'm new to the forums

Basically my problem is that at times the DSL light on my router goess off then turns back on......like 5 min later the DSL light will turn off then 10 sec later will turn back on.....its weird....I've got the speedstream 6520 Wireless router/modem all in one.....check this out for more details New Page 1 I<ve been told that the DSL light is supposed to stay a solid green all the time........

Also

I am connecting wirelessly to my router with my Windows XP PC......I've got the D-Link wireless USB adapter that I use......and I can achieve great signals from the location of my PC to my Access Point.....about 70% signal with 54mbps speed......and I find that sometimes web pages don't load and there is sometimes a short delay so I have to click refresh...... I also don't know what is causing this.....my wireless is set to channel 11 and I am certain that there is no interference in between..... i am able to stay connected with great signal......Any help would be greatly appreciated !

As far as the DSL light going out, that sounds like there's a problem with your phone line, or a faulty router. It should stay on all the time. Get your telco to check the line and/or try to borrow a friend's DSL router to see if it does the same thing

I'd say the flaky DSL is the likely cause of the web page problem too, it will be interesting to see how it performs once the DSL issue is solved.
