Today I installed a Wireless repeater (D-Link DAP 1360) in my bedroom, because my phone doesn't always pick up the signal coming from the wireless router (Linksys WRT54G). But the problem now is: my notebook also uses the signal coming from the repeater. And the transfer speeds are much slower. When browsing normally I didn't notice it, but when I was downloading the speed didn't go over 1.2 MB/s (before I was downloading at 2.1 MB/s with the Linksys). So here's the question: can I exclude my notebook from the repeater and just use the WiFi signal coming from the main wireless router?
