Wireless router temporarily loses connection

I have a Linksys wireless router (WRT54G) hard wired to my desktop. When I turn the computer on the lights on the Linksys flash temporarily then turn back on...which temporarily disconnects all wireless connections (2 other pcs and a couple of Xbox's). I regain connection in 30 seconds +/-. The same routine happens when I shut down the Desktop.

Has anybody had the same issue and/or know if there is a fix?

try doing a firmware upgrade and see if it continues, after the upgrade do a hard reset by pressing and holding the reset button at the back of the router for like 5mins.

This will surely reset all the settings on the router so u will have to reconfigure the router all over again from scratch but definitely it should takecare of ur current problems
