Default Wireless vs Cat 5

I have Time Warner internet using a turbo connection. I can get 25Mbps download and .9 upload using a cat5 connection/hardwire. When I use a Linksys N wireless router I get 5Mbps download .9 upload. Any way I can improve my wireless connection? Thank you

you can do that by browsing to your router's location, which is usually 192.168.1.1 - from there you just need to go through the router firmware and find yourself the channel switch. it should allow you to change it. usually if you have a cordless phone or something else in the area which uses a similar channel it can cause a loss.
