Some ap's have a security option where wireless clients can be restricted to access only the internet but not the wired clients. Other routers consider the wireless clients as in the DMZ zone. |
The Router is a very common D-Link DI-524. Nothing unusual in setting up the network - all the PC's taking up IP's, etc. by DHCP, Internet connection is working on all computers. The two wireless computers can see eachother and communicate, but neither of them can see the wired one, although a ping is possible. The wired computer does not appear in Network Neighborhood.
I guess, because the router is giving the setting of all the PC's automatically, the problem is not because of wrong subnet or IP of the wired computer - all PC's are of the same network.
