zcomax 325HP+ - rear antenna port not working

Hi,

I bought two generic zcomax XI-325HP+ cards. The rear antenna ports don't seem to
work. I have plugged in different antennas but none work. The front antenna
ports work fine.
I'm using win xp sp2 with the generic drivers off zcomax website, although when installing the driver it did give a warning message saying the driver isn't test and if i want to continue.

Have I got faulty cards? or do I need to configure them to use both ports
independently.

There is nothing wrong with the cards; this is pretty common with beefed up PCMCIA wireless cards, the Senao/Engenius series are a classic example. On many of these high power cards only one antenna jack is used to transmit but both can receive (diversity). If you want to connect an external antenna, use the connector that transmits and leave the other one disconnected.
