Can anyone recommend a PAYG Sim that offers a good rate receiving/making
calls or sending texts while abroad please,
Last year I had Easymobile which was great for the 20 per min receiving call
rate. Anyone know of anyone else doing anything good for while I am abroad.
Cheers
Tracym

'Abroad' is a very big place!

Have you considered a 'local sim', or are you travelling to several places?

Depends how long your calls are. For longer calls Vodafone Passport at
75p per call is hard to beat.

Or O2 My Europe Extra - £10 a month fee, zero incoming call rate in
31 countries, 25p/min outgoing to UK or any of those countries

then use a callback service to convert incoming to outgoing calls - if
it's fairly soon, you might be interested in www.returncall.co.uk at
2p for UK landlines, 9p mobiles ( I'd expect their tariffs to creep up
a bit eventually). And maybe have another service in reserve in case
RC doesn't work all the time

Depends how many calls you receive in the month though, but least you're
not restricted to one network.

Also, it's £5 in Spain

Yep.

Also, 3 has launched 3 Like Home - free roaming while on 3 networks
abroad, in Ireland, Austria, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Hong Kong,
Australia.

Incoming calls free, use of contract or payg add-on inclusive (£25 for
500) minutes, or 20 pence a minute to home and same country.

But the coverage is patchy - Sweden looks good, but when I drive
through Austria in the near future I expect 2 20 minute and 1 5 minute
spells

Going to Poland in March, and July, and also Tenerife and Ibiza in June and
