Default Android phones and email passwords

Do Android phones automatically store mailserver passwords, or is there
also an option to enter the password each time you want to download emails?

Yes - if you have mail pushed to your phone

Not sure - but if its webmail why not just go to your account via
whichever browser you are using and logon through that? That way you can
pull the mail whenever you like with a greater degree of security.

In any case, it will depend on whether you use the default Android mail
app.

I don't - because its SMTP HELO is broken. I use K9 Mail.
