I don't think they do a free Windows Mobile version, but they do a
windows & mobile bundle for 29.95 euros at...

http://www.avira.com/en/products/ant...n_premium.html

The standard version seems to be very fast and effective, compared to
several others tested regularly at http://www.av-comparatives.org

Check out the online test results, as well as perhaps the retrospective
test - tests the same products 3 months later without any more updates -
Avira comes out strongly again.

It can be a little "keen" at times, detecting things like keygens or WGA
hacks as potentially nasty, but I think its the nature of the app that
gets them flagged, rather than real-world effects.

....and try this out as well perhaps - appears to be free, although I
couldn't see it on BitDefenders' own website !

Have you ever seen a virus that infects that platform? I haven't.
Certainly wouldn't want to slow my mobile down to protect it from a
non-existent threat.

And yes, I know there are some viruses for it, but not in the real
world.

It's a requirement by the company if your going to connect to the company
via VPN and access network resources.

Not sure how they would find out if you didn't mind you? Google for
"antivirus windows mobile" reveals 17.2 million hits, first of which
seems to be real.

Even if there are windows mobile viruses in the wild that you are
likely to catch, are they cross-platform enough to spread to your
company computers?

Do they not run antivirus on their network?

I don't believe that even if there was a virus on your phone, it could
possibly generate enough traffic to have any impact on a half-decent
network.
