Default the best value for £20pm?

I see virgin do a sim only deal with no contract
for £20 a month with 300mins and 300texts

Is this the best deal for the most calls/texts for
that sort of monthly charge, dont mind a contract
if it will mean a better deal

What about the latest offer on the Three website of £15/month of either
500 minutes/month or 75 minutes + 600 texts/month for £15/month WITH a
choice of handsets?

For the 500 minute tariff, if you need texts, you can add text packs to
this deal - 75 texts for £5/month or 200 texts for £10/month.

These is an 18 month minimum term contracts and, according to Three,
they are only available until the end of this month. Of course, the
cynic in me says that Three has only put a time limit on this offer as a
psychological ploy to drive short term sales and they will probably
choose to extend the offer throughout next month and beyond as long as
the sales levels continue to justify it.

Unlike many other deals, the tariff cost in this instance is not a
limited-time discount - it is fixed for as long as you wish to stay on
the tariff (subject to the network retaining the rarely used right to
increase costs in line with inflation).

Of course, if you're happy to go via my site, all the 500 minutes/month
deals are currently on my site - the text-heavy equivalents will be
added shortly.

It would seem that all their decent 1/2 price deals (up to 18 months 1/2
price) are on 18 month contracts.

Yup - it's a good offer, especially as there's no cashback to claim.

That's the big plus in my books as they claim it will be seemless 2G
roaming - dropped calls on handover with O2 was one of their biggest
annoyances in the early days.

Not here, my Orange coverage is poor, only O2 is usable,
T Mobile doesnt exist.

But for most, Orange 2g roaming with it's better capacity
will be better

3g to 2g handover to O2 is fine now, i'm very pleased with my
3 VT&T 1100
Billing so far has been accurate, no probs with anything about 3

If 3 had started like it is now, they would have wiped the other networks
