Has anybody invented a bluetooth for ear that

rather annoying having to repair them each time

Whilst his signature includes rather a lot of marketing on a point of
fact I believe that you will find that the usenet convention is actually
that signatures should be a maximum of four lines of up to 80
characters.

I think you will find the "netiquette" for newsgroups
was likely written 20 years ago , and its guidance
not the "LAW" , its not an imprisonable offence.
Its never been updated and is woefully out of date
its not in step with current real life .
One of the main reasons the sig rule was implmented
was when bandwidth was so small , however like many
rules it was acomplete waste of time as MUCH MUCH
more bandwidth was wasted with idiots arguing over it ..
its also its not an issue anymore with 1+mb connections
being commonplace in most countries , people still on
dial up are a rare breed and thats their problem not
everyone elses.
Just as an aside the biggest majoity of newsgroup users
wether you agree/like or hate are using outlook express
and such like for their newsreader and its far more easier
to read news in a top posting format , again another
sign of the rules being woefully out of date .

So find a pipe , a receptical and smoke it grandad & co!

I didn't suggest that it was LAW or even punishable only that the
accepted norm is not three lines it is four and as Jon was suggesting
using your sig. to advertise in a non-advert group is just bending the
rules.

Whose current life? If there were no guidelines we would have people
making up their own rules. Oh I see we already have, oh well.

We already know that and your point is?

As you say it is also customary in most groups including this one not to
top post and it is good manners to follow the convention regards of the
S/W you happen to choose.

>So find a pipe , a receptical and smoke it grandad & co!

I suppose I should have expected the snide remark at the end.

Gaz I have just searched the blue trek website and cant easily find a
model that links to two phones similtanously

IE/
Work mobile Phone
Home Mobile Phone

current jabra headset will only pair to one phone at
a time , i am looking for a bluetooth headset that will
link to both and operate and link to whichever phone
rings automatically

Any such bluetooth headset that does that ?

Multipoint is the name of the technology you're looking for, two headsets
that incorporate it are the plantronics Discovery 640 and Voyager 510
models. I have a 640 and can confirm that it was perfectly happy being
paired with both a MDA exec and a SE K750i simultaneously, linking with
whichever phone was ringing for incoming calls and using whichever phone I
had designated the primary for outgoing calls.

for the Discovery 640, and...

for the Voyager 510
