Hi,
I want to buy a P990 on O2. Could anyone tell me if it's better to get one
before christmass (I guess companies will try to get as many consumers on
board as people are going crazy during that time) or after (since sales will
go down maybe there'll be some great deals for new users). I'm currently on
O2. I want to port my number to Virgin and then back to O2 to get a better
deal then upgrading (I was asked to pay 400 pounds to upgrad). Is it still
possible? I remember that many people used to do that
before. Also since I'm living abroad, are there any companies that do good
deals and instead of having to send them bills, they do automatic cashbacks
(they can always say that the mail got lost on the way there from abroad) ?
Thanks for your help.
Kind regards,
Raphael

I haven't seen any good deals to be honest. It might be better to get a
SIM only contract deal and then buy the phone offline - I recently got
one from Expansys b-stock for about £260.

Hi Tariq,
Thanks for the info. Why is it so expensive? I need the contract and the
phone as well and since I had nothing short of great service from o2 I
wanted to stay with them. I don't need the phone now at this moment, but I'm
wondering if the deals will get better close to christmass or I should look
around after boxing day?
